OSHA Fall Protection Campaign Goes Shoots Safety to the Roof

With falls as the leading cause of death within the construction industry, OSHA launched their official Fall Protection Campaign in 2012 to raise awareness among workers and employers about the hazards of falls from ladders, scaffolds, and especially roofs. OSHA’s Fall Prevention Campaign includes three steps: Plan, Provide, and Train.

Industrial strength safety railing is crucial to providing the right safety hand rail equipment necessary to protect workers and prevent accidents. This is not only the mission for OSHA when it comes to employing effective safe guarding for employees within the construction industry and similar trades, but the mission of our company through precautionary handrail safety.

The Handrail Company’s roofrail is OSHA compliant and serves the core purpose behind OSHA’s safetyrail fall protection guidelines. Roof safety railing reduces trip hazards and keeps workers safe while on the roof. Roof rail fall protection is the optimum way to protect any employer’s most valuable asset while on the job – their employees.

To meet OSHA standards, roofrail section must be a minimum of 20 ft., or have equivalent base plating as that of 20 ft. railing for smaller sections.

The Handrail Company’s unique roof rail fall protection foot plated system provides the necessary safety protection needed on the job.
